Neramūs metai
Dėstytoja, prieš pora savaičių grįžusi iš Šanchajaus, pasakojo mačiusi
šimtus tūkstančių darbo netekusių migruojančių darbininkų, užplūdusių
traukinių stotis. Darbo jėgos migracija iš kaimų į miestus buvo vienas
svarbiausių socialinių procesų nuo 9 deš. Migruojantys darbininkai
apsunkino gyventojų kontrolę (išklibo griežta gyvenamosios vietos
registracijos sistema), pakeitė klasinę miestų struktūrą (apie
“plaukiojančią gyventojų masę” kalbama kaip apie atskirą grupę,
pakibusią tarp kaimo ir miesto) ir padarė didžiulę įtaką tiek miesto,
tiek kaimo vietovėms (migrantų namo siunčiami pinigai daugeliui šeimų
tapo svarbiu pragyvenimo šaltiniu, iš šių pinigų jaunesni migrantų
broliai ir seserys gali įgyti išsilavinimą, tėvai nebe taip kreivai
žiūri į dukras, nes ir šios gali parvežti pinigų iš miesto, galų gale,
grįžę migrantai užima visai kitokį socialinį statusą savo kaime, iš
uždirbtų pinigų pasistato namus, parsiveda turtingesnes nuotakas). O
dabar dėl didžiosios krizės pramonės augimas didžiuosiuose miestuose
sulėtėjo, kompanijos darbininkus atleidžia šimtais: ir pirmiausia
nukenčia, žinoma, migrantai kaimiečiai.
Šita žinia privertė
susimąstyti, kad Kinijai šie metai turėtų būti ganėtinai neramūs. Prie
finansinio sunkmečio kinai į neramumų sąrašą dar gali įsirašyti
artėjančius nemalonius politinių įvykių jubiliejus (http://www.economist.com/world/asia/displaystory.cfm?story_id=12932214):
Tiananmenio incidentas, Tibeto “išlaisvinimas”, Falunguno
uždraudimas… Na, o jei situacija su migrantais išties tokia, tai
galima laukti smarkių socialinių pokyčių bei - nors nedįsčiau spėti,
bet galbūt - neramumų kaimo vietovėse. Keičiasi visuomenės žemėlapis…
Aišku,
metai liūdnoki visiems. Jau vien kaip prasidėjo - deja, nesmagių įvykių
dairytis toli nereik. Tarp kitko, SOAS studentai aktyvistai kartais
visai suįžūlėja: pastarąsias pora savaičių Londone vyksta tūkstantinės
demonstracijos prieš agresiją Gazoje. SOASo studentai ne tik kad jose
dalyvauja, bet ir savo protesto formą išrado - užgrobė (taip taip,
“okupavo” - taip ir parašyta ant langų) vieną SOAS renginių salę. Kodėl
prie mokyklos antradienio vakarą vaikščiojo policininkai, ir kad čia -
ne pokštas, supratau, gavusi vadovybės laiškelį studentams, kad
“padėtis kontroliuojama” ir t.t. Štai tau ir aktyvus politikavimas…
